New Life & New Adventures

Hi loves!  I graduated this morning and I am sitting in the airport!  My flight has been delayed and I desperately need some more sleep!  It's already been on heck of a day!  I cannot wait to get on this plane and leave NC behind.  As much as I love my little state, I really need some time away to just relax and get my summer on!  So today marks my last day in NC and my last 4 days in the USA for a month!  ¡Hasta luego!  I'm beyond excited to just get away from everyone and just spend some time dedicated to myself.  I cannot wait to make it into NYC! It's going to be simply amazing!  I have wonderful tickets to see Chicago and in Vietnam, I'll be spending a month in the beaches, no drinking age, being spoiled by everyone around me, hiking through the mountains, and sleeping in a hammock on the beach!  Oh, poor me!  ;)  Guys, it's about to be one hell of an adventure and I plan on blogging about my day every single day!  Congratulations to the Seniors of 2011, we finally made it!  Party up the summer, stay safe, and see you guys soon!

Love always,

P.S.  Just found out!  My flight isn't delayed anymore!  We got a new plane because of "difficulties."  Glad they found the problems before I got on!

HPU Student Blogger? Nah, HPU Student, Blogger, and Fashionista. ;)

Sooooooo!  I wrote that blog about HPU a few days ago and I have the final verdict!  I was not chosen to be a student blogger for the Freshman class!  No worries, my hopes have not been dashed out!  Still passionate as ever about writing and the regular blah blah blah.  (:  Graduation is in a few short hours and I AM SO FLIPPIN EXCITED!!!!!!!  Gotta get some beauty sleep in and get to Graduating!  Love you guys tons!  Thanks for being awesome readers, even though like... NONE of you ever comment! ♥♥♥

Love, kisses, hugs and all that nonsense that makes tons of sense♥

Ain't nothin' like them summer nights... (:

With Graduation just around the corner, I feel like it's the time to reflect on the good times and to let you guys in on my summer plans!  Something like NYC, Vietnam, Beach, Beach, Beachhhh! (:

Graduation...  I can't believe how fast it got here.  I still remember walking into school Freshman year in my little jean mini skirt and that black bebe logo t-shirt, curly hair, and thinking how cool I looked.  Looking back, I was right, I looked pretty sexy.  :D  Hahaha.  I'm totes just playing with you guys!  On the real, I remember how anxious I was when I stepped out of that car and then I remember walking in and thinking "God, I can't wait to be out of this place!"  Well, here I am...  Done with my classes and graduating in 1 day.  One day?!  God, where did the time go?  I get asked regularly what I'm going to miss the most about high school.  Most of you guys answered your friends or whatever.  Honestly, I will miss Señora Ponce the most.  She was the most inspiring teacher I've ever met in my life.  She's taught me not only Spanish, but also life lessons.  I promised her that I'd keep my feet on solid ground and I intend to hold myself to it.  Other than that, I don't think I'll miss anything about West Davidson.  I could probs go on for 2 years, at the very least, about Sra. Ponce, but I'll try to keep it minimal.  Also, if any of you guys know me... you KNOW I can't turn in a progress report for anything!  She's had me since my Sophomore year and on the VERY last day of school, she got ONE progress report from me.  Pretty much, she thought it was a miracle.  Basically, that seriously IS a miracle!  What else can I say?  Haha, I just KNOW that I'm going to use many of the things that she has taught me.  If I don't remember anything from her class I'll remember all the life lesson talks and of course the rather interesting verbs that we've learned.  Finalmente, se acabó Don Quijote.  I absolutely HATE the version of Don Quijote that we read.  Although, most of my Spanish 4 was learned from that book, I am so beyond glad that it is over with.

I want to give a few shout outs to some special people in my life...

Jenna Hokanson, girl... I'm actually not sure where to start?  Was it 8th grade make-up buddies?  Ahaha, I'm glad that we kept in touch and became WAY closer.  I adore you and I'm SOOOO happy that you're going to Elon!  You're going to be so much closer to me there than in NYC!  I really hope that all of your dreams and wishes are fulfilled throughout your college years and I'm happy that we've made so many memories and I am highly excited to make new memories with you in college!  I love you girl.  Don't you EVER forget that you don't need a man or anyone at all to make you who you are.  You're going to be the best and extremely successful, and you know what?  Ef the haters, they'll make you famous. ♥

Ashley Schofield, OH MY GOD.  Really, how many ridiculous and stupid things have we done together?  Too many to count and way too R rated to be put on any form of public anything.  Remember that one night?  Hahah, yeah...  Me either.  You're going to have a blast at App. and I can't wait for you to come hang out with me at HPU!  I can still say that my parents freaking love you!  LOL!  Even after that one night...  Oh, do you remember when our girls night out got ruined because I backed over some logs and got stuck in the woods at Olivia's?  SO glad that I have an SUV because THAT made a difference. :D  I love you girl!

Anna Greene, all I can even say is LUHHDAT♥ (:  Can't wait for great times at App!  I love you girl!  Btw, we're going to go get Chris Peters from Kansas or Kentucky or wherever he is!  (:

Mo Yarboro, so sure... we might not be the BEST OF BEST OF BEST OF FRIENDS, but we've had our share of good times.  I'm glad that the last of my senior year was spent with you and Anna, y'all are the best and I cannot wait to come see you at State!  Love you girl!

Dustyn Triplett, BFF's for lyfe.  Don't you forget that.  We've had TOO many good, bad, scary, holy sh*t moments to even start to tell.  We have to hit up SONIC soon. ;)  Andddd we HAVE to go on one of our boy hunting nights in Salisbury.  Lmfao.  Also, don't go too insane without me at West.  I know that place is bane of my existence.  Love you boy!

Violet Tran, you... Oh you. (:  You've always been there for me.  You've always had my back and you've always known exactly what to say to make me shut up. ;)  Hahah, I'm glad we can go out and do fun stuff like we do and I'm glad that I'm going to college and don't have to answer to my parents as to where I'm at so I can stay out until the next morning with you if I want to!  LOL.  I'm going to miss you tons, but I know that you're just a phone call and a 20 minute drive away!!  I love you!

Huong McClamrock, my other aunt... (:  Words can't even begin to explain how much I'm going to miss you!  I've enjoyed all my crazy weekend trips up there with you!  Oh, don't think they're done with!  Oh no!  (:  This time, we'll be going out and we HAVE to go to that Dueling Piano bar you were talking about!  I'm so glad that you've always been there for me!  Between you and Violet, you guys raised me.  I'm glad I have such an amazing support system!  Thank you so much!  I love you!

Richard Roman, boy...  we've had tons of amazing moments and our awkward first moments.  Tons of memories and great times to come at High Point U, babe.  Do you remember in Blessing when I was checking you out?  Of course you do, you won't let me live it down...  I admit, you're quite the snazzy looking fellow. ;)  Ahaha.  Hun, thank you for all that you do for me.  Really, thanks for those late night talks, thank you for the calm the ef down speeches, thank you SO much for those little kisses and hugs, and THANK you sweetheart for flying down for my prom and now coming down for my Graduation.  You've made these past couple of months amazing.  I've never quite been as happy as I am with you.

Dear old Mom & Dad, God... Thanks guys for supporting me and giving everything I need and more.  I'm not too good with always listening and all that, but you know?  It's part of growing up and finding out the hard way that I should've listened!  (:  Thanks for everything.  I love you guys!

My summer adventures...
Saturday, I graduate.  I fly to NYC with Richard, and then I leave the country for some crazy adventures in Vietnam.  And of course when I get home on July 6th, I already have a beach trip planned and many more to be planned!  I'm going to miss the USA for a month, but you know what?  Who else is down for a 3 week Paradise on the other side of the world?  Yeah, I thought you'd all be up for it.  (:  I'll be blogging while I'm there to keep everyone up to date as to what all I'll be up to and whether or not I'm dying/dead yet.  (:

Enjoy your summers and best of luck in the future my lovelies!

Why the heck did you choose High Point University?! You could throw a rock from your backyard and hit the University Center!

So… guys, I’m sending in this blog post in order to try and become a student blogger for High Point University!  Def, let me know what you guys think!  I have to write about ‘why I chose HPU.’  Jesus, I’d say that’s easy, but have you seen the place?  There are a million and twenty-seven reasons I could probably find as to why I chose HPU!  Now, not to sound shallow, but purple is my absolute favorite color!  High Point University’s school color?  Purple.  You can put a and b together. ;)  During my application process for colleges, I actually never even considered HPU.  Why?  Well, I’d actually never even heard about it!  Every single day I sit here and ask myself “how was that even possible?”  I mean, look at the place!  Anyways, loves, High Point University definitely has my heart!  I am constantly talking about it and I really feel like the staff want us there and care about us.  I’m really glad that my mother dragged my butt fifteen minutes from home to tour this “awful campus.”  Yes, I actually told my mother that I didn’t “want to tour some stupid campus only fifteen minutes from home.”  What happened to that?  As soon as we pull onto Montlieu, I think my heart dropped out of my butt!  I couldn’t even BELIEVE what I was seeing!  High Point had something big and, dare I say it, cool!  I am immediately greeted by this mass of PURPLE!  Honestly, what the heck was this place?  I was thrilled with the purple, my name on the sign, the golf cart tour, the gorgeous dorms and all of our amenities, but what was the biggest reason I chose HPU?  The people.  I fell in love with how everyone there welcomed newcomers.  I didn’t feel out of place a single bit!  To add to the effect, I didn’t even have to worry about leaving my purse outside on the golf cart.  The fact that my campus is so safe and the people are so trustworthy that I can leave my purse just sitting tells me something.  High Point University was definitely THE place for me.  Do you think I would have even though about leaving my Louis sitting outside at ASU or UNCG?  Chyeah, right.  On top of that, HPU is GATED!  No parking decal or guest pass?  No entrance.  Too bad for those psycho-I’m-going-to-come-to-a-college-campus-and-shoot-ten-kids-and-steal-an-xbox-just-to-say-I-did creeptastic sick-o’s.  I could go on and on for days about why I love HPU, but I only have 500 words…  AND I’m on 427.  Oh, did I mention that as soon as I got home from HPU, I immediately withdrew my application from my former first choice school?  Yeah, UNC Chapel Hill, sorry guys.  Nothing on HPU.  (:

Lots of love and joy,

Confessions of an overly opinionated 18 year old...

With my High School Graduation on the horizon, I feel that it is time to make a few confessions and dish out some truth.

First, I don't get the point of drama!  Good, God!  I listen to other people talk on a regular basis and all I ever hear is "this bitch said that and this whore did this."   What kind of conversation is that?  I'm about sick of hearing who did who and what "that bitch" did to you because more than likely, you've done the same or worse.  Get over yourself.

Second, I cannot STAND clingy as shit people.  I don't care who the hell you are or who you THINK you are, I am not under any obligation to speak to you EVERY second of my life or even ever.  If I feel like talking, I'll talk.  If I don't, don't blow up my phone.  What I can't stand the most is when I tell you I'm busy and you blow up my phone with texts and phone calls.  I said that I was BUSY.  That means don't keep asking me "what's wrong?" or tell me to "answer my damn phone."  I guarantee you that I will not answer texts or calls because you're being an obnoxious little BITCH.

Third, what the hell does it mean when you sit there and BITCH and WHINE about someone else BITCHING and WHINING.  I don't get it.  Doesn't that make you a hypocrite or something to that effect?  Thought so.

Fourth, I absolutely will NOT stand for stupid people annoying me.  I don't want to hear your bitchy little voice in my ears.  You are IMMATURE and too ridiculous to realize that every single time you open your mouth and try to act cool, you're making yourself look like a complete IDIOT.

Fifth, I completely resent West Davidson.  This is probably the WORST place on the planet.  Maybe not THAT bad, but I would NEVER put my kids in school here.  Props to Mrs. Broadway, Mrs. Milstead, and Mr. Lawson, our principals, Mrs. Ponce, our Spanish teacher, and our Lunch ladies.  They might be the only good at WDHS.  Other than that, the people, the attitude, and the place as a whole is just 150% a shit hole.  When I say shit hole, I mean a big gaping hole in the Universe that sucks people in and turns them into wannabes, hypocrites, bitches, fucktards, and REDNECKS.  Sure, I enjoy my cowboy boots and hell to the yeah I love boys in cowboy hats, but give me a BREAK.  John Deere is NOT a fashion trend, it is on the BLACKLIST.  I will be graduating June 11th and don't plan on coming back around unless I'm coming to see Mrs. Ponce.

Aside from all that bitching... I've really kind of enjoyed my high school career...
Freshman year I was a scene, bandy, hardass...
Sophomore year I was obsessed with my boyfriend and lost all my friends, went on TWB that summer and made all the friends I could ever want.  I love them all!  I also did some absolutely ridiculous stuff that summer... STILL a hardass
Junior year, I gave up on school.  It was the most insanely effed up year.  I hated Jr year and yet, still a hardass.
Senior Year?  I'm here now.  I've gotta say, it's not what it's cracked up to be...  There aren't parties every weekend and there's nothing to do here... And yeah, I'm still a hardass.
JOKING ABOUT BEING A HARDASS. Do you even know me? Haha.

Sure, I MIGHT miss some of this, but I'm about to step into what I'd like to call PERFECTION.  High Point University is the most Extraordinary college I've ever been to.  That's where I'm going to be for the next 4 years and maybe more for Grad school.  ♥  I love it there and no one could argue that HPU is the BEST school in the world.

Shout out to my amazing boyfriend, Richard Roman.  I love him tons and am beyond excited to be seeing him on the day of Graduation up in NYC!

Hope you guys enjoyed it!

What I should've posted a long time ago...

What we've all been waiting for, the person insanely in love.  So, this guy is definitely interesting.  We've not met before and so far I have received 3 bouquets of flowers and my favorite movie!  This definitely sounds sweet and romantic, but let's pry a little deeper here.  The only things he knows about me are purely surface level.  He knows what I've told him and that's it.  I hate to be a downer, but this sounds a little much already, don't you think?  My original intentions were to possibly date this guy in the fall, but he hasn't even met me and I'm apparently the "best thing that's ever happened to him."  This blog may be a bit of a bitch move, but guys, don't fall in love with a girl you've never met.  She probably thinks you're slightly stalkerish.  Phone calls and text messages every single day are okay from your best friend, but probably shouldn't be practiced by anyone else.  I don't even text and call my best friend every day!  This guy literally tries to do anything to make me happy!  I'm really not sure what's up here.  His entire family knows about me and already "loves" me, none of these people have met me.  I think we may have taken this a little bit too far way too quickly.  I don't mean to say it's all his fault, because I definitely put time and flirting and attention into this little "thing."  I just think that maybe people should meet before deciding that they are going to devote the majority of their life to someone, date, or have the most awesome relationship in the world.  It makes no sense to me.  I know I'm nice and I've been told by many people that they've never met someone quite like me, but that is not a good enough reason to be head over heels in love with me before you even meet me!  This guy is really starting to sound psycho, huh?  Get this, I had registration for my classes last weekend and a future classmate stayed with me that weekend.  This future classmate was a male.  So, this guy literally talks to my best friend on a regular basis, creepy?  He texted my best friend and said something along the lines of "I'm worried that they are going to hook up."  Dude, what business do you even have worrying about whether or not I hook up with someone?  If I wanted to hook up with the rest of the world, it still would not be his business!  Literally, all weekend he was texting my friend about the "issue" at hand.  For you information, yes, the guy who stayed over was rather good looking.  Did we hook up?  That's our business.  Fast forward a week.  My profile picture on facebook is of me and another future classmate.  The conversation I had at lunch today revealed that yet again, my best friend was texted to find out who this guy was.  I simply replied "A friend."  Instantly, I knew who had asked, because my best friend said "Who is Richard Roman?" out of nowhere.  It's slightly obvious when you say "I can't tell you."  It is, without a doubt, the person who is always worrying about who you're with.  Damn, I don't even date this guy and I feel like he's constantly watching me.  That's weird.  Rich and I actually have a lot in common and can drive around and do nothing and still have a ton of fun.  That's because we're friends and have met.  I still don't quite understand how this guy is SO in love with me!  Let me just give you a description of him.  He's half Italian and half Jewish, drives a Camaro, lives in a nice house, has an ATV, wears Ed Hardy regularly, owns Prada sunglasses, AND he wears Ed Hardy regularly!  Sounds like a classic Upstate New York douche.  Money is not everything, dear.  You can send flowers, candy, jewelry, and all you could think of, but it's not going to buy me.  Ed Hardy?  God.  I am not the sweet, insecure, and easily persuaded little girl that he probably thinks I am.  I was born and raised southern.  This means that I have a knack for seeing straight through people and being able to tell classy from trashy.  Money isn't everything.  Not at all.  Being able to wear expensive clothes means that you should probably go buy decent clothes.  For the love of God, buy some damn khakis.  This is definitely starting to sound like a bit of a diss on this guy.  I kind of feel really bad, but looking at it, I'm kind of worried about him.  Insecurity is the underlying theme for him.  How is he going to succeed when he can't even relax?  In a few weeks I'm supposed to be going to dinner with him and his family.  I think I'll leave it to actually meeting him to get anything real out of it.

I wrote this when I first started my blog...  Let's just say, I went to dinner and we don't speak anymore.  I'm happily taken by one, Richard Roman.
Enjoy!

My, how the winds have changed...

So, it's been quite some time since I've blogged...  I've been a little caught up with life and the whole Senior Year thing...

Recently, I went on the Senior DC trip.  Let me just say that I can not believe how immature people can be.  That's all.  Other than that, I am so glad that I went on the DC trip.  I got to catch up with the people in my class one last time before Graduation.  Let me tell you, I spent the majority of the trip trying to find "the closest Starbuck's" hahaha.  Clay and Mason can vouch for that and the 30 minute detour we took to find the "closest" Starbuck's.

Also, as many of you might know, I've started dating one Richard Roman.  He's made me so happy.  I can't even explain it.  I know you probably don't want to hear about it, but for the first time, I feel alive and really loved.  Just want to spread my love. :D
