With Graduation just around the corner, I feel like it's the time to reflect on the good times and to let you guys in on my summer plans! Something like NYC, Vietnam, Beach, Beach, Beachhhh! (:
Graduation... I can't believe how fast it got here. I still remember walking into school Freshman year in my little jean mini skirt and that black bebe logo t-shirt, curly hair, and thinking how cool I looked. Looking back, I was right, I looked pretty sexy. :D Hahaha. I'm totes just playing with you guys! On the real, I remember how anxious I was when I stepped out of that car and then I remember walking in and thinking "God, I can't wait to be out of this place!" Well, here I am... Done with my classes and graduating in 1 day. One day?! God, where did the time go? I get asked regularly what I'm going to miss the most about high school. Most of you guys answered your friends or whatever. Honestly, I will miss Señora Ponce the most. She was the most inspiring teacher I've ever met in my life. She's taught me not only Spanish, but also life lessons. I promised her that I'd keep my feet on solid ground and I intend to hold myself to it. Other than that, I don't think I'll miss anything about West Davidson. I could probs go on for 2 years, at the very least, about Sra. Ponce, but I'll try to keep it minimal. Also, if any of you guys know me... you KNOW I can't turn in a progress report for anything! She's had me since my Sophomore year and on the VERY last day of school, she got ONE progress report from me. Pretty much, she thought it was a miracle. Basically, that seriously IS a miracle! What else can I say? Haha, I just KNOW that I'm going to use many of the things that she has taught me. If I don't remember anything from her class I'll remember all the life lesson talks and of course the rather interesting verbs that we've learned. Finalmente, se acabó Don Quijote. I absolutely HATE the version of Don Quijote that we read. Although, most of my Spanish 4 was learned from that book, I am so beyond glad that it is over with.
I want to give a few shout outs to some special people in my life...
Jenna Hokanson, girl... I'm actually not sure where to start? Was it 8th grade make-up buddies? Ahaha, I'm glad that we kept in touch and became WAY closer. I adore you and I'm SOOOO happy that you're going to Elon! You're going to be so much closer to me there than in NYC! I really hope that all of your dreams and wishes are fulfilled throughout your college years and I'm happy that we've made so many memories and I am highly excited to make new memories with you in college! I love you girl. Don't you EVER forget that you don't need a man or anyone at all to make you who you are. You're going to be the best and extremely successful, and you know what? Ef the haters, they'll make you famous. ♥
Ashley Schofield, OH MY GOD. Really, how many ridiculous and stupid things have we done together? Too many to count and way too R rated to be put on any form of public anything. Remember that one night? Hahah, yeah... Me either. You're going to have a blast at App. and I can't wait for you to come hang out with me at HPU! I can still say that my parents freaking love you! LOL! Even after that one night... Oh, do you remember when our girls night out got ruined because I backed over some logs and got stuck in the woods at Olivia's? SO glad that I have an SUV because THAT made a difference. :D I love you girl!
Anna Greene, all I can even say is LUHHDAT♥ (: Can't wait for great times at App! I love you girl! Btw, we're going to go get Chris Peters from Kansas or Kentucky or wherever he is! (:
Mo Yarboro, so sure... we might not be the BEST OF BEST OF BEST OF FRIENDS, but we've had our share of good times. I'm glad that the last of my senior year was spent with you and Anna, y'all are the best and I cannot wait to come see you at State! Love you girl!
Dustyn Triplett, BFF's for lyfe. Don't you forget that. We've had TOO many good, bad, scary, holy sh*t moments to even start to tell. We have to hit up SONIC soon. ;) Andddd we HAVE to go on one of our boy hunting nights in Salisbury. Lmfao. Also, don't go too insane without me at West. I know that place is bane of my existence. Love you boy!
Violet Tran, you... Oh you. (: You've always been there for me. You've always had my back and you've always known exactly what to say to make me shut up. ;) Hahah, I'm glad we can go out and do fun stuff like we do and I'm glad that I'm going to college and don't have to answer to my parents as to where I'm at so I can stay out until the next morning with you if I want to! LOL. I'm going to miss you tons, but I know that you're just a phone call and a 20 minute drive away!! I love you!
Huong McClamrock, my other aunt... (: Words can't even begin to explain how much I'm going to miss you! I've enjoyed all my crazy weekend trips up there with you! Oh, don't think they're done with! Oh no! (: This time, we'll be going out and we HAVE to go to that Dueling Piano bar you were talking about! I'm so glad that you've always been there for me! Between you and Violet, you guys raised me. I'm glad I have such an amazing support system! Thank you so much! I love you!
Richard Roman, boy... we've had tons of amazing moments and our awkward first moments. Tons of memories and great times to come at High Point U, babe. Do you remember in Blessing when I was checking you out? Of course you do, you won't let me live it down... I admit, you're quite the snazzy looking fellow. ;) Ahaha. Hun, thank you for all that you do for me. Really, thanks for those late night talks, thank you for the calm the ef down speeches, thank you SO much for those little kisses and hugs, and THANK you sweetheart for flying down for my prom and now coming down for my Graduation. You've made these past couple of months amazing. I've never quite been as happy as I am with you.
Dear old Mom & Dad, God... Thanks guys for supporting me and giving everything I need and more. I'm not too good with always listening and all that, but you know? It's part of growing up and finding out the hard way that I should've listened! (: Thanks for everything. I love you guys!
My summer adventures...
Saturday, I graduate. I fly to NYC with Richard, and then I leave the country for some crazy adventures in Vietnam. And of course when I get home on July 6th, I already have a beach trip planned and many more to be planned! I'm going to miss the USA for a month, but you know what? Who else is down for a 3 week Paradise on the other side of the world? Yeah, I thought you'd all be up for it. (: I'll be blogging while I'm there to keep everyone up to date as to what all I'll be up to and whether or not I'm dying/dead yet. (:
Enjoy your summers and best of luck in the future my lovelies!
