So, enough with all these shout outs. You guys aren't reading my blogs to see messages to random people that you don't even know, so it's about time to start actually blogging again! So, topic of choice? Vietnam! As always. (:
So, I've noticed several things in Vietnam.
1. People here have no idea how to match.
2. If they do match, they REALLY match.
3. Girls think that wearing heels with EVERY outfit is okay.
4. Misfit heels mean awkward walking.
5. Why the hell are people wearing long pants, socks, long sleeve shirts, face covers, and gloves when it's 100 degrees outside?
6. I get stared at a whole lot.
7. I sleep a lot here.
Matching: Okay, floral print does not go with stripes and polka dots. Also, the same print on the top AND bottom AND in your hair AND on your shoes? Tres FUGLY.
Heels: You just can't wear those 3 inch clunkers with gym shorts and a button down shirt. That makes no sense. Can I please start a class? Also, can I start a class on how to WALK in heels?! I mean, buy heels that fit your feet and you won't walk like a duck/penguin hybrid. You'll only walk like a disoriented walrus, what with all the uneven pavement, holes in the ground, and sand!
Clothing Overkill: Guys, it's literally like 100 degrees here. People are dressed from their heads to their toes! I mean, I'm pouring sweat in my bathing suit, how are they EVEN surviving in this weather? Sure, they're accustomed to it, but they all look like they're dying of heat! Everyone here has sweat dripping from their bodies all the time and yet, they STILL proceed to wear winter coats in 100 degree weather! I've heard of cold and hot natured people, but dear God!
Honey, take a picture: Seriously, can I get stared at anymore? It's even better because they don't think I understand or speak Vietnamese because I speak English to the rest of my party. They say things like "How are her teeth so white and straight?" "That white boy is cute." "Is he her husband?" "They are so pretty." Loves, I'm from America. We have white people everywhere, we have teeth whitening systems and braces (although, I never had braces and haven't been anywhere to have my teeth whitened), AND no, he's not my husband, oh! AND thanks for the compliments! LOL. Must be and American thing.
Home, sweet, home: God, I sleep so much more here than I do back home. I want to sleep constantly. Maybe, it's because I just want to get home. LOL. I feel like a dang sleepy kitty! I mean, what does that even mean?! Sleepy kitties are CUTE. (:
ANYWAYS, I am going to head out on the beach! Time to get to vacationing! I love you guys! Keep reading! <3
